From June 7th to 8th , 2017, the 2^nd International Conference Mining in Europe was held successfully in Aachen, Germany.

The Conference brought together over 200 participants from all over the world to share the latest developments on mining expertise, activities, developments and research in Europe and beyond. Professionals from the mining industry and practitioners from consulting companies, equipment suppliers and software providers, people from research institutions and government agencies as well as academic scholars and researchers attended this Conference. An additional objective of this Conference was to encourage MSc and PhD students to showcase their research.
